We’re delighted you’re considering Oasis Climbing for your next school visit. We’re here to make it a fun, safe, and memorable experience for your students. Whether it’s a one-time excursion or part of a broader program, our team will support your group with engaging activities that build confidence, teamwork, and physical skills.

All school bookings include:

 

• Full access to our top rope and boulder walls

• Up to 90 minutes of climbing led by our fantastic staff

• Harnesses and gear hire included for all climbers

Outcomes Based Course:

We have a fantastic program for any school wanting to take their students through an educational climbing experience. Our Outcomes Based Course (OBC) is a popular choice for dozens of schools around Perth. Each OBC takes the students through a "fill in the blank" style booklet along with a quiz on the final session. Students will complete the written part of the session in the first 10-15 minutes then use the remainder of the time for climbing. You can choose from a 4-week up to a 10-week OBC.

Drop-In Sessions:

If you're wanting less than 4 sessions for your group, we recommend booking a Drop-In Session. We will adapt each lesson to the needs of the group and ensure that each session is educational, exciting, and safe.

Lead Course:

For groups who have completed the OBC, we offer training for lead climbing. As lead climbing carries a higher risk, we take great care to ensure the safety of each student. We cannot guarantee that students will be capable of independently lead climbing by the end of the course, but they will learn the fundamental principles of safe lead climbing.

Suitability:

Our school group sessions are perfect for year 6+.

We tailor the session to suit the group’s age and ability, so everyone has a great time — from first-timers to little monkeys who’ve climbed before!

Safety & Supervision:

• All climbing is fully supervised by trained staff

• Safety rules are explained in the first session and continuously monitored to ensure safe climbing

Please ensure that all bookings are at least 45 minutes long. This allows every student ample time to climb and ensures the content is taught effectively.
