We’re excited that you are considering Oasis Climbing for your OSHC centre. We are here to make it a fun, safe, and memorable experience for your outside of school hours centre. A number of OSHC centres are working with us, and our staff and facilities are well setup for child firnedly safe climbing.

We are aligned and comply with, WA Department of Education standards and Appendix D, and will provide you with all appropriate information - insurance, risk, safety and compliance logs.

​​OSHC Student Details:

  • Drop-In supervised sessions for 8 to 30 children, all equipment included

  • Ages for climbing are typically 4 years old and up, we have harnesses for all sizes

  • Our staff will induct the careers and support and oversee the sessions

  • Large seating area, bathroom fascilities and staff area, plus kitchen if required 

  • Music volume and style is adjusted for each group

  • Sessions are up to 3 hours duration

  • Free Bus parking available on Harris Rd

​Available Facilities:

  • 10.5m high walls, with approx 20 stations for child  suitable climbs

  • 5m height, 80 sqm of bouldering with approx 20 child suitable climbs

  • 12mx10m quiet and airconditioned lounge area for rest and lunch

Available times *:

  • School & holiday weekday times:  8:00 am start – 4:00 pm end

  • Custom times and weekdays available on request including public holidays
     

* timeslots are booked ahead of each school term; as we hold sessions with numerous schools, we will need to negotiate times and requirements as soon as possible.

Event Pricing *:

Our fees include instructor and climbing equipment: $12 per student / per session

 

Safety and Construction Standards:

  • Rope climbing and safety procedures defined by the Climbers Association of WA (CAWA)

  • Equipment and configuration standards as defined by UIAA Safety Standards;

  • Premises aligns with Australian Standard AS 2293 and is compliant and checked regularly to meet City of Swan Public Building Compliance DA-197/2011

Safety & Supervision:

  • We induct and brief all participants on gym safety, ettiquette and using equipments

  • Safety rules are explained at the start of the program and as needed

  • All harnesses are checked before climbing commences

  • All climbing is fully supervised by trained staff under full insurance cover

  • Climbing shoes required (included in the price of your program)
