NDIS & Disabilities
Oasis Climbing and ClimbWell are working with WA Institute of Sport's Para-Sport division and Para Climbing Australia; along with the national Para-Climbing community to create stronger pathways for athletes here in WA.
As of 2026, ClimbWell is helping facilitate the growth of Para-Climbing in Western Australia at Oasis Climbing in Malaga. Our mission is to create the facilities, programs and framework to give WA Para climbers the best springboard to improve their climbing and compete at national and international level.
At Oasis Climbing this includes routes for para-climbing and with ClimbWell to implement a para-focused training program influenced by the attributes of our Youth & Athlete curriculums. With WAIS and SCWA and ParaClimbing Australia, we will define clearer pathways for classifications and programs to success in competitions.
Our combined vision is to see more WA para-climbers competing in WA and winning at national level.
The Oasis Climbing team has been part of the community for many years, and ClimbWell and All Abilities Climbing WA have been part of the scene since 2022. We have experience to enable para-climbing, Oasis Climbing facilities include:
-
Tope rope with 10m high walls and over 80 routes
-
Typically over 60 Lead Climbing routes
-
Warm-up and calisthenics gym area
-
Accessible facilities & parking
We plan to lay the groundwork to secure funding and government grants, to support athletes, coaches, facilities, and event organisers working in this space.
We're so excited to be a part of your climbing journey - the future is looking bright.
