Dave’s Birthday - DnB Social Night
Some birthday nights are quiet. Dave’s was not one of them.
A huge thank you to everyone who came down for Dave’s birthday party, brought their energy, shared a slice, jumped on the wall, and stayed late for tunes, chats, games and one very well-earned cake moment.
The night started with climbs and serious energy
The new climbs were a big part of the buzz. People got stuck in early, testing beta, swapping tips, and cheering each other through the tougher moves.
The general verdict was: tricky but satisfying. The kind of climbs that make you step back, stare at the wall for a minute, try again, fall off, laugh, and then finally stick the move.
DJ Dave kept the D&B rolling
Of course, it would not have been Dave’s party without DJ Dave on the decks. His D&B matched the mood perfectly: quick, punchy, and full of momentum.
Pizza, cake and a full gym
James' pizza's were a hit, as expected. After a solid climb, nothing lands quite like good pizza shared around with friends. It kept everyone fuelled and gave people a chance to pause between attempts, catch up, and compare notes on the new routes.
Then came the cake.
The birthday wishes were genuinely lovely, and the whole room joining in for “Happy Birthday” song made the moment. Dave got the kind of birthday wishes that resonates with a community who are all thrilled to be there.
