With Sport Climbing WA announcing that the Lead State Titles 2025 will no longer go ahead this year, many climbers were left disappointed. But at Oasis Climbing, we’re keeping the energy high. When one door closes, another route opens.
Introducing Oasis Sunset Sends, our very first social climbing competition designed to bring the community together for an afternoon and evening of friendly rivalry, fresh routes, and summer vibes. Whether you’re new to comps or a seasoned climber, this event is all about having fun, testing yourself, and enjoying great company at Sunset Sends Social Climbing Competition 2025.
What to Expect at Sunset Sends Social Climbing Competition 2025
Sunset Sends is set in a flash format. This means you only get one attempt on each climb. You’ll have 10 climbs to complete within a 2.5 hour session, so bring your focus, your footwork, and your best send power.
All climbs will be freshly set for the event, giving everyone a fair and exciting challenge.
Competition Categories
We’ve created four categories so every climber can find their place.
Kids Top Rope: Grades 10 to 15 Novice Top Rope: Grades 15 to 20 Intermediate Lead: Grades 18 to 22 Open Lead: Grades 22 to 30
Whether you’ve been climbing for years or have only just started, there’s a category that suits your level. The format is fun, relaxed, and ideal for anyone wanting to try a comp with a supportive community around them.
